Trekkings and Tours

We are operating 3 different treks into the jungle and to hilltribe villages:
a 3 days/2 nights trek, a 2 days /1 night trek and a 1 day trek.

Our treks are leaving every day.
You can join any of our tour groups any day. We guarantee that we will have a place for you, whether you come alone or with several other persons.

Itinerary

8:00 - 8:30 a.m. : Pick-up from Hollanda Montri by air-conditioned van.

Elephant ride We will leave Chiang Mai on highway 108 past the airport to Sanpatong, and further to "Mae Wang Elephant Camp", an about 1h drive. You will have a little time to look around the elephant camp while the mahouts prepare the elephants for the ride. The elephant ride will lead you through a wonderful mountainous jungle landscape for about 1.5 hours.

Ban Huey Nam Rin Meo village After the ride you can make a jungle walk for about 15 min. uphill to "Huey Nam Rin" village, a village of the "Meo" tribe. The guide will lead a tour through the village for about half an hour. After you will walk downhill for about 30 min. to where the van is waiting for you.



The van will bring you to "Mae Mud" village, a "Shan" village, where you will have lunch.

Relaxing at the Moradok Falls After lunch the van will bring you to "Huey Takhrai" village, a village of the "Karen" tribe. There you can watch "Karen" women weaving on hand-looms and you will get some insides into the living of the "Karen" people. Also you can buy hand-woven fabrics and other souvenirs made in the village.

Later we will drive to the "Moradok" falls, where we will make a brake. You can swim there, walk around or just relax.

Bamboo rafting on the Mae Wang stream After the break we will drive to the raft landing. From here you can make an exiting ride down "Mae Wang" stream on a raft made of bamboo stems bound together. The ride will take about 1.5 hours.

After that back to Chiang Mai where you will arrive at about 17:00h.
